Denise Lynn Anderson Age 71, of Rice Lake, WI, died Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Rice Lake.

She was born on April 11, 1951 in Baldwin, WI to Stanley and Lois (Wolske) Anderson.

Denise graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1969 and also graduated from cosmetology school. She worked for Birchwood Lumber and Veneer, McCain Foods, Cray Research and Lakeview Medical Center. She loved to decorate cakes for special occasions, enjoyed traveling around the world, going for walks and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Richie (Jennifer) Deraitus; a daughter, Stacey Small (Scott Brenner); 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Alyssa, Morgan and Bailee; 2 great grandchildren, Jazlynn and Jaeleigh; a step great grandson, Jameson; 3 sisters, Sharleen Anderson, Barbara (Pete) Esanbock and Beverly Skar; 2 brothers, Gregory (Diane) and Jim (Bonnie) Anderson; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gary Anderson, a brother-in-law, Jim Skar; and 2 nieces, Becky and Shelley.

A celebration of her life will be held from 3-5PM Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI.
