Dena Lynn (Kilcoyne) Scalzo Age 48, of Cumberland, WI, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Cumberland Healthcare.

Dena was born on January 31, 1973 in Rice Lake, WI to Larry and Connie (Gross) Kilcoyne.

She attended and graduated from Rice Lake High School. Dena was an avid softball player, being All Conference her Jr and Senior years. In her free time she loved to spend time with her friends and family. She loved stock car racing and was Speedway Queen in 1991. Dena was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Kelsey (Zach) Manley and Alexis Scalzo (Terry Bartels); a son, Jase Scalzo (Addie Paffel); mother, Connie Kilcoyne; a brother, Larry (Michelle) Kilcoyne; a sister, Kari Chafer (Chris Draganowski); 3 grandchildren, Charleigh, Layne and Porter; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Kilcoyne Sr.; and a great niece, Zoey Chafer.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, October 16, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Rice Lake, Rev. Susan Oeffler officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Friday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake and for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
