DeAnn Marie Anderson, 71, of Cumberland died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Care and Rehab-Cumberland.

She was born September 7, 1949 in Madison, MN to Charles and Germain (Tennessen) Dunnom. She was married on October 24, 1981, to John Anderson Sr. who preceded her in death on December 30, 2020.

DeAnn proudly worked with the Cumberland Chamber planning Rutabaga Festival, golf outing, and many other activities She took great pride in her community. DeAnn took the most pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren; she always made sure that they knew how much she loved them.

In her spare time, she enjoyed canning pickles and beets to give away to those she knew. She could often be found doing puzzles, baking delicious treats, and traveling to see her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Edward) Hoff; step-son, John (Renae) Anderson Jr.; grandchildren: Erynn and Matt Jensen, Anthony and Cody Hoff, Mykayla and Lucas Anderson; sisters: Karen (George) Naser of Ninilchik, AK, Patricia (Loren) Lorenzen of Onamia, MN, and Mary (Steve) Dunn of Maplewood, MN; brother: Michael (Lois) Dunnom of Sparta, WI, and Paul (Janet) Dunnom of Ely, MN; nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.

DeAnn was preceded in death her husband, John Anderson; parents; infant daughter; sister, Charleen Careful; brother, Douglas Dunnom; and step-son, Harry Anderson.
