Dawn Marie Bintz Age 49, of Rice Lake, WI died Thursday, June 13, 2019 at her home.

She was born on April 29, 1970 in Illinois to Roy and Vivian (Pink) Kopstain. Dawn graduated from the Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois, studied History Education at Illinois State University and then attended and graduated from WITC in Rice Lake with her Nursing Degree. She was married to James Bintz in Rice Lake. Dawn was a Registered Nurse at the Rice Lake Convalescent Center, Dove Healthcare and then Frederic Nursing Home and Rehab. Dawn always had a smile on her face, had a positive attitude, a zest for life and loved everyone unconditionally.

She is survived by her husband, James Bintz of Rice Lake a daughter, Vivian Bintz of Rice Lake; a son and daughter-in-law, Louie and Cayla Bintz of Rice Lake; her parents, Roy and Vivian Kopstain of Melrose Park, Illinois; a sister, Robin Kopstain of Berwyn, Illinois; a brother, Roy (Melissa) Kopstain of Crest Hill, Illinois; a half brother, Dwight Hospes of San Diego, CA; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family.
