In Memory of David Marcoux
David Charles Marcoux Age 79, of Rice Lake, WI, died on 4 October 2021 in Rice Lake.
He was born on 14 November 1941 to Charles and Margaret (Halstead) Marcoux.
Dave graduated from High School and then entered the United States Army and retired as Sergeant First Class E7. He worked for the Rice Lake Area School District for many years and he was also a recruiter for the National Guards for 22 years. David was married to Frances Prosecky on 25 September 1966. David had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. The students and faculty at Rice Lake High School will always have a special place in their heart because of the love he shared with them.
He is survived by 5 children, Frank Marcoux (Tami Morse), Theresa Anderson, Aaron (Elizabeth) Marcoux, Emilie (Luke) Bailkey and Vicki Marcoux (Calvin Johnson); 14 grandchildren, MaKenzie, Draeson, Cody, Marian, Chanell, Ella, David Charles Marcoux II, Averie, Alex, Jackson, Sarah, Damon, Lexie and Elliott; a great granddaughter, Addilynn; his significant other, LaVonne Canfield; 3 sisters, Patricia Abrahams, Jean Zeller and Eva Sanders; many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Marcoux; his parents; a brother, Gregory Marcoux; a sister, Clara Darling; brothers-in-law, Woody, Phil and Terry.
Full Military Rites will be accorded him by the Rice Lake Veteran Honor Guard on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Rice Lake City Park at 2:30PM. A celebration of his life will be held 4-7PM Monday at the Rice Lake Family Restaurant.
Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
