David “Charlie” L. Olson, of Prairie Farm, passed away on Sunday February 26, 2023.

He was born January 9, 1966 in Rice Lake to Gerhardt “Guzzy” and Lorraine (Rudolph) Olson of Prairie Farm. He was raised in Prairie Farm, attended Prairie Farm elementary and then graduated from Barron High School in 1985.

He worked at Midwest Ducts in Prairie Farm for 18 ½ years; and was a member of the P.F.S.F.D. for 28 years.

He liked 4 wheeling, lawn care and watching the Green Bay Packers.

Charlie is survived by his mother, Lorraine Olson of Barron; brother, Mark (Tammy) Olson of Barron; sister, Lori Olson of Prairie Farm; special friend, Candi Hartung; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerhardt Olson; grandparents, Harold Oscar Olson and Clara Olson; grandmother Ester Rudolph; as well as aunts and uncles.

A memorial service for Charlie will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Rausch and Steel Funeral Chapel in Barron. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
