David L. Ironmoccasin., age 68, of Spooner, WI passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at Spooner Health Care System.

David Lawrence Ironmoccasin was born August 5, 1951 in Hayward, WI the son of Leatrice DeNasha and Ralph Ironmoccasin. He was a Lac Courte Oreilles tribal member and was raised by the Belanger family in the settlement of Bayfield, WI from a young age. David enjoyed playing guitar, watching football and most of all visiting with his family and friends. He touched the lives of many people with his smile, genuine kindness and his trademark sense of humor.
He is survived by his sister Maxine (Mike) Babineau; brothers Steven Bildeau and Ronald (Cheryl) Bildeau; Sister In-Law, Tami Bildeau; special friends, Richard “Richie” Belanger and Penny Frost and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

David is preceded in death by his biological parents, Leatrice DeNasha and Ralph Ironmoccasin; foster parents, William and Mary Belanger; brothers, Robert Ironmoccasin, Eben Bildeau, and Donald Bildeau; sister, Viola Ironmoccasin; Aunts, Bernice Howard, Marie Potack and Virginia Taylor.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 4, 2019 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Frankie Bildeau will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Casket bearers will be Derek Babineau, Bryan Bainbridge, Donald Bildeau Jr., Frankie Bildeau, John Gurnoe Jr. and Robin Parsons.
