David Allen Anderson, age 70, a resident of Grantsburg, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020.

David was born on July 2, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN to Otmer and Delores Anderson.

David was a 1968 graduate of Grantsburg High School. The following day, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he served until 1972. He and Raeann were married on October 12, 1974 in Grantsburg.

David worked as a machinist at McNally’s in Grantsburg for over 48 years. David was a member of the Grantsburg Legion. He loved to watch and cheer on his team, the Packers. He enjoyed a good book, being outdoors fishing, hunting and cutting wood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Frank Powell.

David is survived by his loving wife, RaeAnn; children, Kevin Holmes and Michael St. Croix; grandsons Nick and Wyatt; and his sister, Debbie Powell; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank St. Croix Hospice for all their care and compassion. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg.
