David Arnold Checkalski, 71, of Centuria, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2024 in St. Paul, MN.

David is survived by his children: Mandee (Kristopher) Scherping of Stacy, MN and Joshua (Hanni) Checkalski of Forest Lake, MN, five grandchildren: Kali, Eli, Kaden, Amelia and Karter, seven siblings: Dennis Checkalski of South Range, WI, Duane (Liz) Checkalski, Dan (Mel) Checkalski both of Weyerhaeuser, Jim (Sandy) Checkalski of Bloomer, WI, Jeff (Vicki) Checkalski of Andover, MN, Joan (Mack) McDonald of Prior Lake, MN and Joel (BJ) of Weyerhaeuser, many nieces and nephews and former wife Diane (Manke) Checkalski.

David's loving parents Gerald "Jerry" and Dorothy (Working) Checkalski, niece Holly Checkalski and sister-in-law Bonnie Checkalski preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Porky's in Weyerhaeuser, WI from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
