In Memory of Daryl Lanphere
Daryl (Moose) Harley Lanphere, 67, of Birchwood, formerly of Eau Claire, WI passed away with family by his side, Monday, March 04, 2019 at Marshfield Medical Center – Rice Lake.
Daryl was born on July 11, 1951 to Kenneth and Ione (Goss) Lanphere in Eau Claire, WI. Anyone who knew him, knew that he enjoyed listening and singing to country music – the life of the party. He loved watching Packer games, hunting and fishing and was an excellent cook and baker, especially his fish-fry. He deeply loved his eternal love and wife and all their years together. Many of his favorite days were spent on the deck with his dog Jade, family and friends. He had a heart of gold, always willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone and will be in our hearts and missed forevermore.
Daryl is survived by his daughter, Tara Rae-Leonard Kemp; daughter-in-law, Lisa Antenucci; granddaughter, River Rae Kemp-Antenucci; 2 brothers, Jim (Vicky) Lanphere and John (Deb) Lanphere; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pam & Lee Minnick, Yvonne & Lon Kemp, Marie & John Basty, Lisa & Mark Rieper, & Rita & Phil Trimmel, Mark Riedell, Juan Chavez; nephews and nieces; Nicci & Craig Minnick, Matt & Sam Riedell, Kyle & Shaun Van Acker, Justin & Corrinne Pendleton, Clarissa Rieper, Lori Hewitt, Rick & Tony LaRock, Todd & Tim Lanphere, Steve & Sue Butterfield; as well as many great-grand nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Kemp; parents, Ken and Ione Lanphere; a brother, Dale Lanphere; a sister; Karol Chaves; father-in-law, Ray J. Kemp; brother-in-law, Jerry Tripp, a sister-in-law, Julie Lanphere; and a niece, Jessie Riedell.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation starting at 10AM followed by a service at 11AM, Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI. A celebration of life will be promptly held after at the American Legion, 504 Stoney Hill Road, Birchwood, WI 54817.
