Daryl Lawrence Hefty, age 66, of Rice Lake passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Mayo St. Mary's in Rochester.

He was born July 14, 1957 in Rice Lake, WI to Lawrence and Margie (Erickson) Hefty.

Daryl was a proud US Veteran, retiring from the Navy after 20 years of service.

He is survived by his siblings, Roger (Ann) Hefty, Paul (Sue) Hefty, Wayne (Annette) Hefty, and Shari (Colin) Moon; 7 nieces; and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Margie Hefty.

Interment and Military Honors will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at The Northern WI Veterans Memorials Cemetery in Spooner.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in June. More details to follow.
