Darrel "Tip" Reinhart, 89,  of Shell Lake died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Glenview Assisted Living Center. He was born August 28, 1929 in Shell Lake, WI to Earl and Amelia (Ek) Reinhart. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was married in Shell Lake, WI on August 18, 1951 to Kathryn Rounce.  

Darrel was an avid golfer.  He loved music, travel and spending his winters in Naples, Florida. He especially enjoyed spending his summers at his lake home in Shell Lake.  Darrel will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by: his wife, Kathryn; his children: David (Barb) Reinhart of White Bear Lake, MN, Tom (Anne) Reinhart of LaCrosse, Jim (Joni) Reinhart of Mequon, Jane (Eric) Baruch of Egg Harbor, Mary (Tom) Butler of Shell Lake; grandchildren: Stefanie (John) Hingley, Kate (Joel) Folstad, Lisa (Matt) Reagan, Libby (Eric) Trzaska, Chris Soukup, Alex Reinhart, Kelly (Matt) Beilman, Tom (Amy) Reinhart, Jourdan Reinhart, Steve (Megan) Soukup, Mandy (Andrew) Katte, Spencer Reinhart and Jessica Reinhart; many great grandchildren; in laws: Joe and Nan Rounce,  as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, DeWayne Reinhart.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, December 27, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Shell Lake with Father Bala Showry officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery - Shell Lake. 

Military Honors were accorded by Shell Lake Honor Guard.  Tip's family would like to extend a special thank you to the special people who cared for him at Glenview.
