In Memory of Dallas P. Pichler

August 16, 2022 - August 23, 2022

Dallas Patrick Pichler, one week old, of Barronett, WI, joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022 while being cared for at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. He passed away while being comforted in the loving arms of his parents Jacob and Samantha Pichler during his last moments.

Born August 16th, 2022, at 8:25a.m., weighing in at 8lbs 9.9 ounces and at a height of 19 3/4inches. He will be remembered for his strong set of lungs that he showed off to parents and staff immediately following birth. Mom and Dad enjoyed the bonding time they had with him while in the hospital and were never more happy to get him home to see his older sister Greta. Unexpected to Dad (maybe not to Mom) Greta welcomed “Baby Dallas” with open arms and gave him an unconditional love that every parent should have the pleasure to witness. She was truly obsessed with him and ran to his every cry. Greta would wake up in the morning and first thing she would ask for is “Baby Dallas”, wanted to know where he was, hold him, hug him and kiss him. Greta will always be Dallas’s big sister, Mom and Dad hope and pray that he watches over his sister just as she did for him.

Dallas was fortunate to be able to meet both sets of Grandparents, his Great Grandma and a Great Uncle. Many will always say his red hair gives resemblance to that of his Father’s family, his face and cheeks to that of his Mother’s family. He had the longest fingers and toes that a baby could have. He loved to be held as he was a very content little guy. In the last two days with Mom, Dad and family, Dallas showed us how much of a fighter he was. During this time, he was admitted to 3 different hospitals, experienced 2 helicopter rides and kept fighting until Mom and Dad were at peace and knew it was time for him to be with the Lord. May his resilience and perseverance live within those lives that he touched. His parents and family are deeply saddened with the loss of this beautiful little boy but are so very grateful to be granted the short time we did get to spend with him. Dallas, this is not a goodbye but see you later.

Dallas’s parents and family are very grateful for the care that he received from the staff at each hospital.

He was survived by his parents, Jacob & Samantha Pichler; sister Greta; Grandparents: Dan & Julie Kletscher (Brainerd, MN), Clarence & MaryBeth Pichler (Mondovi, WI); aunts & uncle: Hannah Pichler (Mondovi,WI), Leah Pichler (Chippewa Falls, WI), Gretchen & Jason Kreklow (Grand Rapids, MN); cousin: Kaci Pichler (Mondovi, WI); Great-Grandparents: Janet Kletscher (Merrifield, MN), Armella Pichler (Mondovi, WI), Arden & Marlyn DeBoer (Lafayette, MN): cousins, great aunts, great uncles and many other family and friends.
