Dale Allen Sicard, age 83, a resident of Webster, Wisconsin passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020.

Dale was born on November 30, 1936 in New Richmond, Wisconsin to Elmer and Margaret (Wittig) Sicard.

He was married to Mary (Hanson) Peterson in 2000 in Laughlin, Nevada.

Dale was the owner of Valley Auto Supply/Carquest in Stillwater, MN for many years. He was also a School Board Member in Somerset, Wisconsin in the 1970’s and ran the clock and kept score at the Somerset High School football games. Dale enjoyed being a member of the Elks and Eagle Clubs.

After retirement, Dale & Mary enjoyed many winters in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Dale was an avid golfer, belonging to leagues in both Wisconsin and Arizona and was still playing up until this past summer. He loved playing cards and cribbage with his family and friends and lived for ATV riding. He and Mary were members of a local ATV club where he volunteered to groom the trails these last few years. He was a loyal fan of the MN Twins and MN Vikings.

Dale was a beautiful woodworker and had his own sawmill at his home. He took great pride in creating many projects for his family and in recent years had built and gifted toy boxes to each of his great grandchildren.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in September; parents, Elmer and Margaret; infant daughter, Christine; granddaughter, Abbey; brother, Ron Sicard and his first wife, Sharon.

He is survived by children, Terry (Steve) Olson, Debbie (Dean) Belisle, Mike (Lisa) Sicard, Amy Sicard (Dave Neumann) and Wayne (Rose) Peterson; along with 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Lavonne (Jim) Baillargeon and Sandy (Tom) Godfrey and sister in-law, Maggie (Neil) Gutzman; other relatives and friends.

A gathering for friends and family will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 3-5 p.m. with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Sicard family or St. Croix Hospice, 107 Oak St E, Frederic, WI 54837.

The family requests that masks be worn to keep everyone safe and healthy while attending Dale’s Celebration of Life.
