In Memory of Dale Livingston


April 10, 1947 - November 24, 2018

Dale Francis Livingston, 71, of Shell Lake died November 24, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born April 10, 1947 in Shell Lake to Francis and Irene (LaRue) Livingston where he was raised on the family dairy farm. After graduating from Shell Lake High School, Dale moved to Racine where he worked at Twin Disc as a machinist for 6 years. He returned to Shell Lake to help on the family farm and for a time, he also managed the Skelly Gas Station. Over the years, Dale continued to farm, work in construction and later work at CarQuest in Spooner. He enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing, bowling, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and farming. Dale truly loved spending time with his grandchildren and raising his Red Angus cattle. 

He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia (Hoefer) Livingston, whom he married in Shell Lake on May 27, 1967. He is also survived by his son, Richard and daughter, Amanda (Brad) Berry; 4 grandchildren: Samuel Livingston, Isabelle, Sophia and Owen Berry; his sister, Janet Bohn; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Bradley and sister, Shelvie Melton. 

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake.
