Connie M. Hodshire age 72, of Rice Lake, WI died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.  She was born June 10, 1946 to Raymond and Shirley (Patton) Glover.  

Connie spent a majority of her early years in the Mooresville/Plainfield, Indiana area.  Where she met and married the love of her life Jim Hodshire.  Jim and Connie met at the very early age of 12 & 13, later they married on November 22, 1963.  They spent the next 50 years side by side building a home.  Connie’s gentle spirit and heart made a home for all she touched.  A wife, mother, sister and friend to all, always willing to listen and giving of herself to others.  Connie always put the needs of others before hers.  Connie enjoyed spending time with others, shopping and watching nature.

Connie Hodshire is survived by 2 sons and daughter-in-laws, Vince & Lisa Hodshire of Kenosha, WI and Jason & Elaine Hodshire of Rice Lake, WI; 9 grandchildren, Meaghan, Devan, Cord, Cindy, Stephanie, Kemawin, Venessa, Christina and Sarah; 12 great-grandchildren, Maximus, Killian, Knox, Auggie, Heavan, Laura, Noela, Audriana, Alivia, Sienna, Evalynn and Porter; and many nieces and nephews; and very special siblings, Sandy, Phil and sister-in-law, Melody.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hodshire; parents, Shirley and Raymond Glover; and a sister, Tonya.  

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, with Pastor Bruce Schmidt of Grace Baptist Church officiating, with interment in Nora Cemetery following the service.  Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 AM Saturday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals.  

Pallbearers:  Jammie Glover, Jacob Glover, Cord Hodshire, Sam Wedge, Vince Hodshire, Jason Hodshire, Louis Wedge and Chris Wilson.
