Clifford Ray Nyberg, 62 of Barron, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, quietly at his residence.

Clifford was born on March 24, 1961, in Shakopee, Minnesota, the son of John and Patricia (O’Brien) Nyberg.

Clifford was a loving son, brother, cousin, and uncle. He loved his town and enjoyed socializing frequently with his friends. Clifford was always willing to lend a hand and had a witty sense of humor. He was a devout bird watcher who loved nature as well as working within his garage/workshop. Clifford was employed at the Jennie-O Turkey Store for the last 16 years. He will be deeply missed.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother.

He leaves to celebrate in memory: his sisters, Janine (Thomas) Ellison, Palmdale, CA, and Connie Coger, Hemet, CA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends; especially his truly forever friend Gina.

A funeral service for Clifford will be held on Saturday, November 4th at noon at the Chetek Lutheran Church with Guy Redfield officiating. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 11:00 A.M. Clifford will be laid to rest at the Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Tree Stand Tavern in Barron, Wisconsin following the service.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
