In Memory of Clara M. Wolf


July 14, 1926 - April 8, 2023

Clarine "Nancy" Clara Marie Wolf, 96, of Clayton, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Care and Rehab-Cumberland.

She was born July 14, 1926 in Clayton, WI to Clarence and Ora (Schafer) Pabst.

Nancy was baptized and confirmed at Moon Lake Church. She was married on May 23rd, 1947 at Silver Creek Church, to Leonard Arnold Wolf, who preceded her in death on August 12, 1995.

Nancy was a proud lifelong farmer. When she wasn't in the barn, she lent her time to others serving as The Arland Youth Club Treasurer, a member of the Concordia Club and teaching children at Sunday school. Writing poems and song lyrics brought her joy, and she was pretty talented at it, too. In recent years, she enjoyed the activities at Cumberland Care and Rehab (particularly fishing, and her favorite game - kickball).

She is survived by sons, Ronald (Marcia) Wolf of Olympia, WA, Donald (Karen) Wolf Sun City Center, FL, Bradley Wolf (Melissa) of Clayton; daughter, Jillane (Richard) Kurschner of Barron; grandchildren, Stacy Brady, Aaron, Ryan and Dustin Kurschner, Alexis (Brady) Anderson and Zachary Wolf; great-grandchildren, Ashley Kurschner, Kaden, Sophiya, and Brantley Anderson; siblings, Harriett (George) Sollman, Clara (Bill) Olson, Janet Marlett; along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, Leonard; parents, Clarence and Ora Pabst; brothers, Richard and Raymond Pabst; sisters, Shorty Humphrey, Jeanne Henck and Virgie Pabst.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11 AM at Silver Creek Church with Quinten Buechner officiating. Pallbearers are Tim Sollman, Dave Pabst, Zach Wolf, Kevin Marlett, Dustin Kurschner. Aaron Kurschner. Honorary pallbearers are Dave Lange, Albert Eggert and Rick Henck.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 4 - 7 PM at Silver Creek Church; and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Skinner Funeral Home of Turtle Lake is serving the family.
