Christopher Allen Etchison, age 36, of Barron, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019.

He was born December 23, 1982 in Torrence, CA, the son of Kenneth (Marlene Fortier) Etchison, II.

Chris moved with his family to the Rice Lake area in 1993.  He graduated from Rice Lake High School in 2001. 

Chris was an avid reader and enjoyed playing on his computer.  He liked to go bowling and swimming; and also loved to socialize with family and friends. 

He is survived by his parents, Ken and Marlene Etchison of Rice Lake; brothers, Mike (Cheryl) Etchison of Barron, Rob (Kelly) Etchison of Cameron and Tim (Teri Moore) Etchison of Rice Lake; sisters, Karen (Neil) Beatty of Lititz, PA, Sandy (Erik) Henderson of Livonia, NY, Patti Etchison of Rice Lake and Eva Etchison of Eau Claire; nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Funeral services for Christopher Etchison will be Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Northern Lakes Community Church in Cumberland with Rev. Dennis Wright officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. 

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home, Barron.
