Christine Ann Frisle, age 70, died peacefully in her sleep on August 13, 2022, following a battle with cancer. She passed away in her home in Radisson, WI, lovingly surrounded by family.

Born in Milwaukee, WI on September 27, 1951, Chris was the first of four daughters born to her mother Laura Fuss, all whom affectionately called Chris “Teente”.

Chris’ formal education began soon after relocating to Atlanta, GA, attending Forest Park Elementary School followed by Forest Park High School. Soon after graduating, she started her family and gave birth to her first daughter, Lisa, followed by her second daughter, Mary, 5 years later. With her daughters in tow, the family relocated to West Palm Beach, FL and Chris began her higher education at Palm Beach Vocational Institute. After completing her education, she specialized in geriatrics, caring for the elderly as a Licensed Practical Nurse in retirement communities and senior care facilities such as Lilburn Nursing Home, Barron Nursing Home and Knapp Haven Nursing Home, her favorite due to the relationships she was able to foster during her tenure. In 2006, Chris met Jeff Frisle and two years later, the pair was joined in matrimony. Six months into their marriage, Chris and Jeff purchased a lakeside resort known as Kingfisher and operated the resort through 2020. Having sold Kingfisher, the couple purchased a home in Radisson, WI and has resided there since. Chris was undeniably and steadfastly devoted to her family and friends. Of all of her accomplishments, her most rewarding was raising her family, which included her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, and animals and always raised her arms to embrace new people. Chris never met a stranger and often recited the tales of the deep friendships and bonds she made during her time at Kingfisher. She imprinted her infectious smile upon anyone who found themselves near her.

Chris is survived by her devoted husband: Jeff Frisle, loving daughters: Lisa Michele Carlton (Kenny) of Woodstock, GA, and Mary Frances Alexander (Scott) of Fernandina Beach, FL, stepdaughters: Tonya Gale (Jerry) of Lakewood, CO & Heather Mitchell (Steve) of Somerset, WI,  grandchildren: Melanie, Matthew, Brandon, Taylor, Gavin, Brenna, Brooke, Dylan, Tristen, and Eliza, great-grandchildren: Westyn and Rowan, beloved sisters: Gina Untershuetz, Yvonne (Bobbi) Levasseur, Susie Chase, and Tonya Nacke.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother:  Rose Fuss, her mother: Laura (Lollipop) Fuss, stepson: Eric Frisle, and cherished Shih Tzu, Marli.

A Celebration of Chris’ Life will take place on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Pokegama Lake Side Cantina, 840 25 5/8 St, Chetek, WI from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the hour between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectfully reserved for family. A private interment is scheduled on Friday, August 19, 2022 where she will be laid to rest alongside her mother and grandmother. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
