In Memory of Cheryl M. Forsell

December 9, 1954 - February 8, 2024

Cheryl Marie Forsell, 69, of Almena passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at her home.

She was born December 9, 1954 to LaVerne and Geraldine (Livingston) Hubbard.

Cheryl was married to Greg Forsell. They have resided in Almena, WI prior to and since that time. Cheryl worked at various places, including Twin Town Cheese factory, Cardinal Glass, and she retired from DCA in Cumberland, WI.

Cheryl was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and great aunt. She enjoyed getting the family together and making memories for all.

She was always willing to share an opinion, good advice, and a good laugh. She not only had that one of a kind laugh... she also had a smile that could light up an entire room.

She loved to sew. She also enjoyed campfires, canning, gardening, and of course her afternoon drives with Greg to visit with friends. Cheryl will be deeply missed, but I guarantee she will continue to surround and love us all from above.

She is survived by her husband, Greg of Almena; daughter, Jessica (Tony) Updike Motl; grandchildren, Dylan (Alexis) Heuer, Dawson Heuer; great-grandchildren, Levi and Harper; stepson, Ryan Forsell and his son, Dakota; sisters, Rebecca (Paul) Wisti, Brenda (Larry) Akers, Michelle Peterson (Kurt); brothers: Roger (Linda) Hubbard, Mark (Darla) Hubbard; sister-in-law, Sandra Hubbard; brother-in-law, Ray Omsberg; ex husband, Richard (Mary) Updike; her beloved cat, Perry; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Bruce and Carol Forsell; brothers, Dale, Dennis and Daniel; sisters, Marlene Finney and Patricia Omsberg.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 2 PM - 5 PM at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland. The visitation will conclude with a brief prayer service.

Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
