Cheryl Diane Peaslee, 76, of Rice Lake passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on July 23, 2023.

She was born March 8, 1947 in Shell Lake, WI to Rudolph Marcus and Martha Louise (Parks) Thompson.

Cheryl loved visiting, especially when hosting her Monday night get-togethers with her girlfriends. She enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known to feed everyone (including the neighborhood cats!), and LOVED being a mom, not only to her own girls, but to all. Cheryl was a great person all around.

She will be greatly missed by daughters, Debra (Dave) Johnson of Cameron, Susan (Mark) Brunette of Rice Lake, DeeAnn (Shawn) Robbins of Rice Lake, and Samantha (Chris) Lehman of Almena; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Barb) Thompson, Dorothy Hrdlicka, many nieces and nephews; and very special friends.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Merlin D. Robarge, Leonard V. Peaslee, and John Apfel; parents, Rudolph and Martha Thompson; siblings, Marlys “Toots” Mlejnek, David Thompson, and Kevin Thompson

Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
