In Memory of Charlotte D. Rineck
Charlotte “Char” Dee Rineck Age 83, of Rice Lake, WI, died Thursday, November 30, 2023 in Rice Lake.
She was born on July 9, 1940 in Marshfield, WI to Foster and Ruth (Meyer) Will.
Char graduated from Owen High School in 1959 and then she attended UW Stout for a year. She was married to John “Jack” Rineck on August 12, 1961 in Owen, WI. Char worked for her father at his appliance store in Owen for over 25 years. They moved to Rice Lake in 1989 and she worked for Best Western, Burger King, Heritage Manor and Goodwill. She loved to knit, crochet, sew, quilt, and travel. Char was a dog lover and loved to talk and have conversations with everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Rineck; a son, Greg Rineck; a son-in-law, Dan Wickering; 3 grandchildren, Tim (Eleanor), Kaitlyn (Brian) and Bryan; 4 great grandchildren, Foster, Maddie, Emily and Hazel; 2 sisters, Lana Ciszewski and Ginger Lokken; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Keith and Brent; her parents, Foster and Ruth Will.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon, Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, Father Joseph Kumar officiating, with interment in Riverside Cemetery in Withee, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
