In Memory of Charles Reisdorf Jr.


July 12, 1942 - October 29, 2019

Charles “Chuck” Max Reisdorf Jr. Age 77, of Mikana, WI died Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire, WI.

He was born on July 12, 1942 in Mason City, Iowa to Charles and Pauline (Hicks) Reisdorf. Chuck graduated from the Clear Lake High School in Clear Lake, Iowa and then entered the United States Navy in 1960 and was Honorably Discharged in 1964. Chuck worked for the railroad in South Dakota and then worked for 3M in New Ulm, MN and in Menomonie, WI, which later became Imation. He was married to Grace Franzwa on October 11, 1991 in Green Valley, Arizona. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, golfing, watching the Minnesota Timberwolves, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed his many friends in Mikana.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Reisdorf of Mikana, WI; 5 children, Scott (Sonia) Reisdorf, Leanne (Mike) Grover, Cory (Jenifer) Reisdorf, Kathy (Mike) Bartlett and Jenny (Terry) Pabich; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday, November 4, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Birchwood, WI, Rev. Mark Bartlett officiating, with interment in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Monday.
