Charles Daniel Edwards, age 92, of Lac Courte Oreilles, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Hayward Health Services.

Charles was born December 15, 1930, in Burton Township, MI, the son of Ellis and Jessie (Thayer) Edwards.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1950 – 1954. Charley was an amazing baker and painter, owning his own bakery and painting business. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son Charles Edwards; daughters Jeri Edwards & Joanna Edwards Tolan; seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren & four great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Charley was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter Tami Ross; brothers Raymond Moullet, Robert Edwards, James Edwards, Lawrence Edwards & Lloyd Edwards; sisters Mayme Ritchings, Rose Berndtson, Anna Widell & Eleanor Hatcher.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023, at Pineview Funeral Service. Burial will be in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors accorded by the State of Wisconsin Military Honors Team.
