Charles “Chuck” Richard Snyder Sr. Age 62, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, April 22, 2022 in Rice Lake.

He was born on May 2, 1959 in Barron, WI to Vernon and Georgianna (Degerstadt) Snyder.

Chuck attended school in Barron and then entered the United States Marines and was later Honorably Discharged. He owned and operated different businesses in the area, and was mostly known for his cooking and catering. Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, making leather crafting, and especially loved being with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Snyder; 5 children, Tasha (Josh) Meinke, Bill Snyder, Charlie (Amanda) Snyder, Amy Luther and Nikki (Jeremy) Vucenic; 13 grandchildren; 2 brothers, James (Sue) Snyder and Robert (Peggy) Snyder; a sister, Connie (Bob) Rud; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, John and William Snyder.

A celebration of his life will be held from 1-4PM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
