In Memory of Chance Jonathan Farlow
Chance Jonathan Farlow "Cowboy", 78, of Barronett died Sunday, April 10, 2022.
He was born July 1, 1943, in Cumberland, WI to Tyrus and Ruth (Rowe) Farlow. He was married on March 2, 1968, to Carol Ann Bethke.
He had many different jobs over his adventure-filled life ranging from working on the family built and owned farm, to custom round bailing, hauling milk, working at Traprock in River Falls, WI, Lakeland Steel, and at McCains Foods. There was also a time when he was a truck driver.
Chance was a loving, caring man, husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa. He will be deeply missed by everyone that had the privilege to know him.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Jessica (Mick Hiber) Farlow; son, Chance Farlow; two grandchildren: Jimmie and Kristy Mehalek; four great grandchildren: Mason Gilbert, Ryder Keller, Neveah Keller and Kinsley Mehalek; two nieces: Sarah (Joel) Kyrola and Martha (Brian) Lyke; two nephews: Peter (Jodi) Tjelta and Ben McKeon; many great nieces and nephews; three siblings: David Farlow, Katha (Ralph) Tjelta, and Marghi McKeon; and many other family and friends. Chance was preceded in death by his parents, Ty and Ruth; grandparents; numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Cumberland Baptist Church with Pastor Jared officiating. Burial will be at the family homestead. Pallbearers are Pallbearers are Chance Farlow, Mick Hiber, Jimmie Mehalek, Beau Kyrola, Ben McKeon, and Peter Tjelta. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday April 15, 2022, at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland, and for one hour before the service.
