Cecelia Alice Peterson Age 83, of Rice Lake, WI, died Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Rice Lake.

She was born on March 30, 1941 in River Falls, WI to Virgil and Leona (Ovsak) Auchampach. Alice attended school in the Prescott and River Falls area. She was married to John Peterson May 18, 1963 in River Falls. Alice worked as a factory laborer working with chickens and making curtains and also as a nurse's aide. She loved to crochet, embroidery work, quilt, and playing seek word books.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Joyce Marsh (Larry Robbins), Sally (Chris) Wallace and Nancy Peterson; 5 grandchildren, Clifford, Keith, Kevin, Shawn and Amber; 3 great grandchildren, Braylen, Galen and Tala; 3 brothers, Ed (Ellyn) Auchampach, Peter Auchampach and Mike (Charlene) Auchampach; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Peterson; her parents, Virgil and Leona Auchampach; and 2 sisters, Patsy Auchampach and Elizabeth Erickson.

A celebration of her life will be held from 11AM-1PM Friday, December 13, 2024 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery in River Falls, WI.
