Carole-Jean North-Sky Young, age 5 months, of Hayward, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Carole-Jean was born February 1, 2023, in Hayward, the daughter of Rachel Miller and James Young. She loved playing in the grass, Truly & the Rainbow Kingdom and finding her beautiful voice. Most of all Carole-Jean loved her bff’s, her siblings, who could make her laugh so easily where Mom had to work for it.

She is survived by her parents; sister Leighla Miller; brother Carter Archambault; aunts Jessica (Jeremy) Mork, Raven Miller & Sara Lee; uncles Christopher (Tiffany) Young, Raymond Miller Jr, Raif Miller, Jason Morrow, James (Jimmy) Smith, Robert (Lena) Smith & Brandt Lee;s cousins Abe, Kane, Owen, Tyson, Brix, Ry, Rahanna, Myles, Deighton, SaRiyan, Serenity, Jean & Randy.

Carole-Jean was preceded in death by her grandmother Carole Morrow & great grandmother Sarah Morrow.

Tribal Funeral Rites will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Chato “Ombishkebines” Gonzalez will officiate. Burial will be in Historyland Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 7th at Big Drum.

Casket bearers will be Raif Miller, Raymond Miller Jr., James Smith Jr. and Robert Smith.
