In Memory of Carole Heartman


February 8, 1940 - November 15, 2020

Carole M. (Reagle) Heartman, Gust, born February 8, 1940, to Donald and Katherine Reagle in Superior, Wi. Carole passed away peacefully into heaven face to face with the Lord on Sunday morning November 15, at Marshfield Facilities in Rice Lake, Wi due to Covid complications.

Carole was raised in Superior and graduated from Superior Central High. She married Alan Heartman in 1958. They raised their two daughters, Anette (Barnhart) and Leslie (Gramstrup) in Rochester, MN.

Carole is survived by her sister Dawn Gianunzio of West Virginia, her two daughters, 4 grandchildren, Morgan,Matthew, and Jared Gramstrup (Matt Quinones), Robby and Al Barnhart, and her soul mate and favorite dance partner of 21 years, Frank Gust.

Carole retired to one of her most favorite places, Pipe Lake in Comstock.  In 2010, she and Frank moved to their home in Turtle Lake, until her death. Carole will be remembered by those who knew her by her deep faith that guided her life, her love for dancing, and her wanting to always look her best.

Carole's greatest enjoyment in life was DANCING! She was a wonderfully and talented dancer.  Her last 21 years were spent being loved, adored, and cared for by her life and dance partner, Frank. Carole and Frank were united in a commitment ceremony in 2016, in front of GOD and friends.

Carole will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Arrangements made by Skinner Funeral Homes in Turtle Lake.
