In Memory of Bruce Soldner


April 2, 1959 - October 9, 2019

Bruce Lee Soldner, 60, of Rice Lake died Thursday, October 9, 2019 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire in the loving company of his family. He was born April 2, 1959 in Rice Lake to Ronald and Patricia (Segler) Soldner, Sr. Bruce lived in Rice Lake his entire life. He married his sweetheart, Monica Willger on October 19, 1988. They spent many days together at the race track and on the lake fishing. When not out with Monica, Bruce could often be found turning wrenches in his garage or spending time in the great outdoors. He was a dedicated and valued employee for the companies he worked for. Bruce generated a special love that has always shined through his entire family life. He also had a gift for giving nicknames to his grandchildren.

He leaves many wonderful memories with his wife, Monica of Rice Lake; children: Shannon (Andy) Johnson, Shay (Devon) Frankenberg, Austin Soldner, and Dusty Soldner; four grandchildren: Avery and Ashlyn Johnson, Dylan and Alaina Frankenberg; his father, Ronald G. Soldner; father-in-law, Paul Willger; siblings: Debbie Bogus, Ronald Soldner, Jr., Mike Soldner, and Roxana Soldner; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dennis Willger, Richard Willger, Rose (Larry) Watson, Louis (Kathy) Willger, Charles (Carol) Willger, Theresa (Donald) Dostal, Lucy (Gary) Taylor, Paul (Catherine) Willger, Bill (Janelle) Willger, Patty (Scott) Kirchner, and Carol Willger; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Soldner; grand parents: Lois and Gus Beaulieau, Oscar Segler, Bertha and George Soldner; brother in law, Al Bogus; and mother in law, Frances Willger.

A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake with visitation from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday prior to the service.
