In Memory of Bruce Frommader Sr.


April 22, 1942 - June 9, 2019

Bruce Frommader. Age 77, of Shell Lake, WI passed away Sunday June 9, 2019.

He was born April 22, 1942 in Rice Lake, WI to Tom and Agnes Frommader.  He was married in Shell Lake, WI on August 16, 1965 to his wife if 40 years, Karen A. Farrel.  Bruce graduated from Northland College in 1965 with a B.S. degree in biology and chemistry.  He worked many different jobs: as a chemist for E.I. Dupont at Barksdale, WI, as an insurance representative with Prudential Insurance in Ashland, WI, as an iron worker in the UP of Michigan, and also in Minnesota building taconite plants.  He was also a boilermaker in Frasier Shipyards in Superior, WI.  His last job was for Nexan Inc. at Webster, WI.  He worked as a machinist and assembler for 18 years.  He loved his home on Round Lake.  He was an avid outdoorsman and hunting and fishing was his sport.  He especially loved his trout fishing on the Brule, Sioux, Cranberry, and Flag rivers near Lake Superior.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother and his wife Karen.  He is survived by his two sons Bruce Jr. and Brian, his sister Carol Renolds, three grandchildren Ashley Briggs, Sarah Denn, and Mitchell Frommader, four great grandchildren Grace and Henry Denn, Lyman and Hannah Briggs, a niece Sherry and a nephew Greg
