In Memory of Brian Macaulay


March 24, 1961 - August 2, 2019

Brian “Mac” Gerald Macaulay, age 58, of Webster, WI, passed away suddenly on August 2, 2019, at his home, after a battle with lung cancer.

Brian was born on March 24, 1961, in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Park High School in Cottage Grove, MN, in 1979. Shortly after graduation, Brian enlisted in the United States Navy first serving as a Navy Recruiter. He then served during the First Gulf War as a Steam Propulsion Maintenance Supervisor. After 15 years, Brian retired and was honorably discharged from the service.

Brian was united in marriage to Cheri Ginter on June 24, 2004. They shared 9 wonderful years together, until Cheri passed away. After Cheri’s passing, Brian moved back to the Webster area to be closer to family.

Brian worked at Yourchuck’s in Siren for a few years, a job he truly enjoyed and hoped to one day do again. He also spent time volunteering at Burnett County Connections.

Brian was a true people-person and a devoted Chicago Bears fan. He will be deeply missed.

Preceding Brian in death is his father, Gerald Macaulay; wife, Cheri; baby sister, Marie Carol Macaulay; and stepfather, Mike Huss.

Brian is survived by his mother, Carol Macaulay; daughter, Michelle; grandson, Benjamin; sister, Kat Schrautemyer; brother, Dan (Christie) Macaulay; nephews, Micah and Jace Macaulay; and other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service for Brian will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 11:00am (visitation from 10-11:00am) at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, with Pastor Danny Wheeler officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster.
