Bradley Patrick “Pat” Catman Age 83, of Birchwood, WI died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 7, 1934 in Rice Lake, WI to Norris and Lillis (Soper) Catman.

Pat attended school in Birchwood and then entered the United States Marine Corp and served in the Korean Conflict. He was married to Katherine Hayes on July 26, 1955. They moved to Watertown, WI where he worked for Durant Manufacturing and worked for Bell & Howell in Hartford, WI and moved back to Birchwood in 1986 where he was a contractor with his brother-in-law, Larry Seffinga. Pat was a board member and then was elected President of Birchwood for 2 terms. He drove school bus in Birchwood for over 20 years. Pat loved and helped anyone and everyone that needed help. He was a Birchwood Lions member, Birchwood American Legion and a faithful member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Pat was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine “Kathy” Catman of Birchwood; a son, Rocky Catman of Miami, Florida; a daughter, Terri Murley of Birchwood; 3 grandchildren, Noah Murley, Joshua Murley and Collin Catman; 4 great grandchildren, Reese, Ella, Landon and Dane; his canine girlfriend, Patsy; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Lillis Catman; a brother, Michael; and 2 sisters, Marion and Mavis “Sammy”.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Thursday, July 12, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Birchwood, WI, Father Ed Anderson officiating, with interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Birchwood, where Military Rites accorded him by the Birchwood American Legion Post.

Visitation will be held from 930AM-11AM Thursday at the Church.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
