Bob, 84, died January 2nd, 2024 at his home in Chisago City, MN, surrounded by loved ones.

After graduating from St. Croix High School, Bob joined the Marine Corps. He spent time in different parts of the United States, including California, Nevada, and the Midwest.

Bob worked as a farmer, and held leadership positions at food processing companies. He loved fishing with his son, biking and being the neighborhood handyman. Bob also had a deep faith that was shown through his quiet and gentle demeanor. He was very generous and volunteered his time to anyone in need. Bob will be dearly missed.

Bob married Jan in 2002 and they were happily married for 21 years. They enjoyed biking with their dogs, Ebee and Ellie in their bike baskets along the beach in Hilton Head and around Chisago City.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Dovelyn Olson; his siblings, Lyle, Lee, Ray Lee and Naome. He was survived by his loving wife, Jan; his son, Timothy Olson; his step-daughter, Nathalie Visalou; his step-children, Mike, Terry, Mark, Wendy and Chris; his 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and honorary grandchild, Lydia.
