In Memory of Beverly Singerhouse


September 7, 1949 - September 6, 2019

Beverly Kay Singerhouse, age 69, of Prairie Farm, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at her home. 

Bev was born on September 7, 1949 to Gerald and Josie (Carlsrud) Amundson.  She graduated from Prairie Farm High School in 1967.  She then went to work for Northwest Airlines.  She married Donald L. Singerhouse on April 26, 1969.  They lived in Virginia for 9 months and Menomonie, before moving to the Prairie Farm area.

Bev loved her time with family, cooking, baking, decorating, gardening, quilting, and life in general.

She is survived by her husband, Don; her children, Joe (Alison) Singerhouse, Eric (Sara) Singerhouse and Scot (Natasha) Singerhouse; her eight grandchildren, Emma, Selene, Riah, Chloe, Margaret, Kooper, Matthew and Noah; two step-grandsons, Joey and Nick Beyer; parents, Gerald and Josie Amundson; mother-in-law, Evelyn Singerhouse; sister, Kathleen (Doug) Rudnicki; brothers, Dale (Nancy) Amundson and Steve (Cindy) Amundson; sister-in-laws, Karen Kahl, Diane (Kelly) Stevens, Susan Singerhouse, and Mary (Roger) Hepokoski; brother-in-laws, Paul (Marita) Singerhouse and Scot (Stephanie) Singerhouse; many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Bev was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Otto Singerhouse; brother-in-law, Robert Kahl, Jr.; sister-in-law, Lynn Amundson; and a nephew, Trevor Amundson. 

Funeral services for Beverly Singerhouse will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at United Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm with Rev. Erin Koster officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at United Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday morning.  Burial will be at Vanceberg Cemetery in the Town of Sheridan, Dunn County.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
