Beverly Mae Anderson Wehrman, age 88, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Superior Rehabilitation Center in Superior, WI.

She was born on May 10, 1934 in Hayward, WI, the daughter of Andrew and Esther (Olson) Anderson.

She was united in marriage to Merlyn Eugene Wehrman on June 25, 1951 in Pine City, MN. They chose to raise their family in Silver Bay, MN before retiring back to Hayward.

After the kids had gotten older, Beverly became a licensed beautician, worked at the Antilla gift shop in Little Marais, MN and Split Rock Lighthouse gift shop, became a real estate agent, completed income tax returns, and was an administrative assistant at Josten’s. They loved their fur babies and spent many winters in Arizona.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Merlyn of Hayward, WI; her children, Sandra (Odie) Coffey of Henrico, VA, Robert Alan Wehrman of Aurora, MN, Russell Wehrman, Wenda (Jim) Whereatt of Lake Nebagamon, WI; her grandchildren, Amanda, Bradon, Monica, Cory, C.J., Ryan, Andrew, Matt, and Kelsey; 20 great grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Grace Fleury; her brother-in-law, Larry (Bernie) Wehrman; her cousin, Lee Alan (Paulette) Peterson; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Sadly, Beverly’s beloved husband, Merlyn, passed away a few short days after her.

The lives of both Beverly and Merlyn will be celebrated with a funeral service that will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Hayward Funeral Home, 15571 W County Highway B in Hayward, where visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
