In Memory of Beverly M. Glinski


February 28, 1952 - February 5, 2024

Beverly Mae Glinski, 93, of Turtle Lake died February 5, 2024 at Monroe Manor. She was born November 17, 1930 in Apple River Township, WI to Edward and Etta (Peterson) Vold.

She was married in Barron, WI on February 28, 1952 to Leonard Glinski who preceded her in death on March 3, 1989. During their marriage Beverly farmed with Leonard in Turtle Lake. After he passed away, she lived a short time in Clayton before returning to Turtle Lake. Beverly would later work at Seneca in Cumberland for a time. She spent the last two and a half years living in Monroe Manor in Barron.

Beverly was an amazing mother and a wonderful cook. She was an avid reader and loved working in her vegetable garden. She could often be found working happily in her kitchen canning and baking bread. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three sons: Leonard Glinski, Jr of Caldwell, ID, Leon Glinski of Turtle Lake, and Duane Glinski of Turtle Lake; two daughters, Rose Seeger of Comstock and Lillian Frankum of Phoenix, AZ; daughter-in-law, Kathlyn Glinski of Harlington, TX; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brother, Dave Vold of MN; two sisters: Clarice Vold and Ardella Vold of St. Paul, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Glinski; son, Martin Glinski; daughters-in-law: Lory Glinski, Sandy Wright, and Colleen Heirdon; grandson, Jason Glinski; siblings: Arvid Vold, Phyllis Posey, Mavis Neuman, Inez Maas, and one infant brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, February 12, 2024, at Parkview United Methodist Church in Turtle Lake with Pastor Adam Wood officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Turtle Lake. Visitation will be from 1-3 PM Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Skinner Funeral Home in Turtle Lake, and one hour before the service on Monday.
