On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, sometime in the sleeping hours, Beverly Ann Schuna, 80, passed away peacefully in her own bed in Clear Lake, WI into her eternal heavenly home. Bev was born at home during a blizzard, to Clifford and Laverne Larson in Superior, WI on March 21, 1944. In 1949, her family moved to Spooner, Wi where she began her school years. In the Spring of 1951, the family moved to Reeve, WI, where she attended Sunny Side School and later Clear Lake High School, graduating in 1962. After graduation, Bev moved to St. Paul where she began to work for Deluxe Checks.

On July 6, 1963, she married Eugene Arthur Schuna at the Free Methodist Church in Barron, Wisconsin. To this union, 3 sons, (Paul, Bruce, Kevin) and 1 daughter, (Heidi) were born.

She attended and was an active part of East Lincoln Alliance Church for many years. There she served in many roles among them: managing the kitchen for weddings, anniversaries and funerals, leading the Women’s Missionary Prayer Fellowship, VBS director, and many other positions. When her children were involved in 4H, she also, served there.

During her lifetime, she did many different jobs, from In-Home childcare, cleaning, painting, wallpapering, lunchroom and cleaning attendant at Land O’ Lakes, assembling Miracle Ear Hearing Aids at Dalbergs in Turtle Lake to her final job before retirement at Federal Foam in New Richmond.

In her free time, she enjoyed keeping her hands busy with her many handcrafts including, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting and embroidery work. She also enjoyed her weekly Ladies Bible Study and lunch with friends.

Bev was proceeded in death by her husband of 59 years, Eugene (Gene) Schuna, a son, Bruce, father and mother, Clifford and Laverne Larson (McDonald), father in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Ruby Schuna, brothers-in-law, Dale Schuna and Keith Schuna, and sisters-in-law, Mary Schuna and Cher Steiner.

Bev is survived by her children, Paul (Bev) Schuna of Rice Lake, WI, Heidi (Aaron) Hoffman of Centuria, WI, and Kevin Schuna of Clear Lake, WI., and one grandson, Isaac (Ike) Hoffman, brothers, Earl (Pat) Larson, David (Vickie ) Larson, and Doug Larson, brothers-in-law, Arthur Schuna, Kendall (Deb) Schuna, and sister-in-law, Cindy (Paul Wright) Schuna; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bev was beloved by many and will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at East Lincoln Alliance Church, Amery, WI, visitation will be from 10:00-11:00, service at 11:00 with lunch following.

Interment will be at the East Lincoln Alliance Cemetery.
