In Memory of Betty Williams
Betty J. Williams passed away peacefully on January 27, 2020 at the Golden Age Manor in Amery, WI.
Betty was born on February 15, 1930 in Edison, WI. The family moved four years later to a farm near McIntire, Iowa. Being raised on the farm gave her the love of animals, which she still had until her passing. Her cats and flower garden were a few of her favorite things.
She was a very private person, but loved her, as she called them, “smut magazines”, crossword puzzles and books. She loved to joke and make innuendos with friends and family. Then give you that little grin.
Rest in peace, Mom. You are now free to spread your wings and fly high, just like the birds you loved to feed and watch.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Hubert and Florentine Werner; sister, Mariann; brothers, Clayton and Herbert; son, Timmy; daughter, Melissa; granddaughter, Tracy; and Wilbur Williams.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Cassie) Blaser; daughters, Kathy Williams (Jon), Kelly (Farmer) Freer; granddaughter, Jennifer Williams (Steve); grandsons, Jeremy (Trisha) Freer, Raymond (Tasha) Freer, Eric Blaser; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Payton, Zayden and Kaylin; also many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Balsam Lake, WI on Tuesday, February 11th – visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to Rowe Funeral Home
