
In Memory of Betty Thomson
Betty Lou Thomson, age 79, resident of Grantsburg, WI, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, at Burnett Medical Center in Grantsburg, WI.
Betty was born on October 31, 1945, to parents Walter and Ingeborg (Jensen) Hagen. She was the youngest child.
Her hometown was Anoka, Minnesota. She also lived in Florida, New York and California. Betty was a Banquet Waitress for most of her life. She enjoyed playing games, going to the casino, traveling, joking around, and making people laugh. Most of all, Betty deeply treasured spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren and was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Inge Hagen; sister, Audry Lembke; brother, Murt Hagen; and granddaughter, Heather Wraalstad.
Betty is survived by her children, Barbra Renville (Bob) , Wendy Wraalstad (Tom), and Shane Thomson; Sister, Jan Wuornos; seven grandchildren, Branden (Christina) Spratt, Chyrstal (Brandon) Blaskowski, Adam (Jessica) Renville, Ashley (David) Webber, Alexandria (Kevin) Godeen, Tyler Renville, and Kaylie Thomson; fourteen great-grandchildren, James Webber, Jennifer Webber, Carter Renville, Mason Renville, Elizabeth Spratt, Lucy Jabe, Jaylynn Godeen, Blair Godeen, Jade Renville, Kylie Greely-Wraalstad, Sophia Moretter, Jaxyn, Ryker, and Huxly Blasklowski; along with nieces, nephews and friends.
