Betty Ann Stodola Age 88, of Rice Lake, WI died Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Heritage Lakeside in Rice Lake.

She was born on June 18, 1930 in Prairie Farm, WI to Leo and Ann (Jackson) Dillon. Betty was married to Edmund Stodola on September 1, 1949 in Haugen, WI. She was a housekeeper at Lakeview Medical Center and sold Mary Kay Cosmetics for many years. She loved square dancing and made all of her dress, she taught upholstery class at WITC, she enjoyed her flower gardens, she was active at St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Rice Lake Senior Center. Betty also made the Rice Lake City Flag for the Centennial.

She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Stodola of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; 2 sons, Jim (Julie) Stodola of Rice Lake and Bernie (Mary) Stodola of Barron, WI; 3 grandchildren, Tina Fredericks, Jasper MacFarland and Jami Stodola (Dustin Jensen); 5 great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Nichelle, Malysha, Brody and BrayLynn; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Stodola; 4 sons, David, Dennis, Tom and Joe Stodola; and her parents, Leo and Ann Dillon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Haugen, WI, Father Ed Anderson officiating, with interment in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Haugen, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church on Tuesday. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
