Barbara Ellen Madsen, age 77, of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, formerly of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Marshfield Hospital, Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Barbara was born on October 19, 1946 in Wilmar, Minnesota to Edwin Gene and Elsie (Remmick) Brooks.

Barbara’s journey through life will be remembered by husband, Bruce; daughters, Kristin (Brent) Vollroth of Buffalo, MN, Sherri (Kevin) Nathe of Blaine, MN, Tanya (Casey) Burch of Rice Lake, WI, Sara Olson of Rice Lake, WI; son, Matt (Annie) Brenny of Ely, MN; many great and great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan (Gary) Rilling of Wild Rose, WI, Marlene (Jim) O’Conner of Duluth, MN and brother, Mark (Lori) Brooks of St. Croix Falls, WI.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Elsie, brothers, Mike Brooks of Wautoma, WI and grandson, Jonah Olson of Dresser, WI.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Eureka Baptist Church, St. Croix Falls, WI with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
