Arthur Mathew Greiner Age 88, of Rice Lake, WI died Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Cambridge Senior Living in Rice Lake.

He was born on April 7, 1931 in Auburndale, WI to Edward and Mary (Haffenbredl) Greiner. Art attended school in Rice Lake and was married to Doris Campbell on May 17, 1952 in Rice Lake. He owned and operated Greiner Transfer in Rice Lake for many years. In addition to his love of his family, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and going to the casino.

He is survived by 3 sons, Steven Greiner (Carolyn Mickelson) of Sarona, WI, William Greiner of Birchwood, WI and James Greiner (Marge Braun) of Rice Lake; 4 daughters, Cindy (Danny) MacDonald of Rice Lake, Sue (Mike) Pisa of Rice Lake, Peggy (Ron) Wallin of Cameron, WI and Mary (Randy) Nelson of Cameron; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Richard “Dick” Greiner, Bernard Greiner, Harlan (Judy) Greiner, Edward Greiner and Carol Greiner; many nephews and nieces; and his buddy, Dave Schwab of Rice Lake. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Greiner; his parents, Edward and Mary Greiner and 2 brothers, Irv and Orlando “Pete” Greiner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30AM Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rice Lake, Father Ed Anderson officiating, with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Rice Lake where Military Rites will be accorded him by the Rice Lake Veteran Honor Guard. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service on Wednesday at the Church.
