In Memory of Arlene L. Crocker
Arlene Lois Crocker Age 92, of Rice Lake, WI, formerly of Cloquet, MN, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Rice Lake.
She was born on February 7, 1932 in Eveleth, MN to David and Irene (Langley) Rhys.
Arlene attended school in Duluth, MN and graduated from High School in 1950, received her BA degree in 1976 and her Masters Degree in 1998. Arlene was a chemical dependency counselor in Duluth and California. She was a member of the Cloquet Presbyterian Church, VFW in Duluth, the Moose Lodge in Superior and the American Legion Post in Duluth. Arlene enjoyed fishing, reading, writing and traveling.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Mildred) Benson, John Hill, Julie (Nick) Neuberger, and Jody (Curt) Saxton; 6 grandchildren, Matt, Jason, Mark Jr., Jesse (Jennifer), Jenna and Jed; 5 great grandchildren; 2 stepchildren, Deanna (Steve) Benson and David Crocker; 3 step grandsons, Ryan, Tom and Eric.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Crocker; parents; a daughter, Diana Caliguire; her grandparents and a special uncle, Wallace.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1-3PM Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI.
