In Memory of Arlene Foeckler


March 8, 1936 - July 16, 2019

Arlene Lois Foeckler, age 83, passed away Monday, July 16, 2019 at her residence in Hayward, Wisconsin.  She was born March 8, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of August and Anette (Mueller) Neimann.  She was united in marriage to Anthony Elroy Foeckler on October 22, 1955 in Milwaukee.

Arlene was a graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School.  Arlene and her husband moved to Hayward in 1972.  She served as Vice President of Tony’s Candy and Tobacco in Hayward, a business she and her husband ran together.  She later worked as an office manager for Holden Insurance in Spooner.  Both Arlene and Tony were very active in their communities.  Arlene was a volleyball coach at Covenant Lutheran in Milwaukee, taught Sunday school and was the secretary for Trinity Lutheran Church for several years.  She also was a charter member of the Hayward Lioness Club. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony Foeckler of Hayward; her children, Alan (Shell) Foeckler of Superior and Hayward, Andrew Foeckler of Hayward and Annjanet Foeckler of Dayton, OH; her grandchildren, Katie, Kirstin and Brian; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Arlene is preceded in death by her two daughters, Amy Rose and Adele Rose; and her sisters, Carolyn, Helen and Sylvia.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10576 Greyslon Drive, in Hayward.  Pastor Roy Berquist will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
