In Memory of Ann M. Stellrecht

September 7, 1951 - April 8, 2023

Ann Marie (Ullman) Stellrecht of Spooner, WI passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 8th, 2023 at the age of 71.

Ann was born on Sept 7, 1951 in Antigo, WI to Elizabeth (Cline) and Herman Ullman. Born and raised in Antigo, Ann graduated in 1970 from Antigo High School.

After high school, Ann met her future husband, Larry, in Spooner, WI and they wed on Jan. 29, 1972 in Deer Brook, WI. Ann and Larry were hard-working dairy farmers while they raised their 4 sons: Eric, Nate, Steve, and Dan. Ann was a busy farm-wife and mom but she also found the time, when the boys were young, to start a local 4-H club and also serve as the County 4-H President. She worked as the Town of Rusk Town Clerk(1997-2009), helped to coordinate the Washburn County food distribution program for years, and was a Master Baker, and a Master Gardener. Ann loved to try new recipes, always baking and cooking for anyone that stopped in for coffee at the farm or when her family came for the weekend. She enjoyed going to the casino with her friends and liked to read, play cards, and watch her grandchildren at one of their many sports or music activities. Those that knew her best, know how much she loved people. She had many dear friends that kept her busy, and entertained, on their frequent outings or video chats. Over the years, Ann worked at the vet clinic, the casino, the Spooner Ag. Station, and most recently at the Shell Lake Clinic. Ann had returned to school and graduated from Globe University in 2010 as a Certified Medical Assistant. She loved her work at the clinic from 2010-2019 where she took great pride in helping and caring for others.
