Anita Carol Lehmann, 88, of Barronett passed peacefully, November 8, 2022, at Care and Rehab-Cumberland.

She was born June 7, 1934, in Barron, WI to Harland "Bud" and Ann (Brown) Knowlton. She was married in Mora, MN on April 9, 1954, to Donald Lehmann who preceded her in death on June 5, 2017.

Anita was a very busy and productive woman; not only did she work on the family farm with Don in Barronett, she raised her five sons, worked at Stella Cheese in Barronett then Clayton, and baked pies for many different businesses and organizations. She enjoyed volunteering throughout the Barronett community.

She was very compassionate and kindhearted. Anita loved being a grandma and great grandma to 21 wonderful children. She made a point and loved to attend as many of their sporting and school events as possible. Anita was always willing to open her home to many foster children throughout the years.

Anita enjoyed riding horse, camping, river tubbing with Penny, hunting, snowmobile, catching and netting fish, traveling to Canada and internationally. She relished the traveling opportunities she had thanks to her son, Randy and John. She traveled to Italy, Denmark, Hungary, Slovakia, and Germany.

She is survived by her four sons, Craig (Deb) Lehmann of Cumberland, Randy Lehmann (John Libra) of Portland, OR, Ryan (Suzy) Lehmann of Barronett, and Kevin (Kate) O'Neill of Hudson, WI; 10 grandchildren: Aaron (Erin) Lehmann, Heidi (Cary) Diesterhaft, Chad Lehmann, Shane Lehmann all of Cumberland, and Travis (Karlie) Lehmann of Summerset , Tinelle (Mark) Bellefeuille of Cumberland, Alyse Lehmann of Summerset, Miriah Lehmann of Shell Lake, and Lauren and Emma O'Neil of Hudson; 11 great grandchildren: Steven, DaShaun, Gavin, Addalyn, Miles, Charlie, Tru, Laken, Levi, Alaina, and Harrison; favorite sister, Mary Jane Griffin of Oconomowoc; two brothers, Harry Knowlton of Solon Springs, and Melvin Knowlton of Clayton; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Lehmann of Cumberland; many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lehmann; son, Gary Lehmann; three brothers: Robert, Jerry, and Richard Knowlton; sister, Peggy Knowlton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 14, 2022, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Brubaker officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Craig Lehmann, Randy Lehmann, Ryan Lehmann, Kevin O'Neill, John Peterson, and Pat Fankhauser. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 AM. Immediately following the service there will be a luncheon gathering at the Barronett Civic Center.
