Amber Brooke Johnson, age 39, of Luck, Wisconsin passed away on January 5, 2025, peacefully with her family around her at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Amber was born July 5, 1985, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Milton and Lila Johnson, Ernest and Lorraine Eley; cousins Kelly Rose (Randall) Gardner, Scot Randall, and Brent Johnson.

Amber is lovingly remembered by her children who she loved from the deepest part of her heart Lydaya Brooke Johnson and Landon Farve Carlson; parents Bruce and Cindy Johnson; brother Tim Johnson; sister Pam (Rick) James; nephews Chase (Kiara) Johnson and Oliver James; nieces Liberty James and LilaRae James.

Amber was raised on the family dairy farm where she learned a good work ethic. She really loved horses and spent a lot of time riding them, when she wasn’t harassing her older brother and sister. She also loved going on sleigh rides when her dad hooked the team, most of the time to haul wood. She worked at Wilkin’s as a dishwasher before she was old enough to drive.

Amber went to school in Luck through eighth grade and then graduated from Unity High School in 2003. After graduation, she cooked on weekends and worked at Quanex. She then got her CNA Certification and began working at the United Pioneer Home. She started working in the kitchen at Luck School when Landon was in kindergarten and worked there until June when she had her back surgery.

Amber loved her dogs, watching football (GO PACKERS!!!), and reading. In the summer, she enjoyed taking the kids swimming at the lake. She loved the time she got to visit with family and friends during our annual Labor Day weekend campout and horse ride, and she said she wanted to get back into riding again when her back was better.

Amber really loved her family and friends, but the joy of her life was her children, Lydaya and Landon.

Amber is known for being kind-hearted. She was loyal, trustworthy, loved with her whole heart… and had unquestionable integrity.

A visitation for Amber will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church of Bone Lake (997 280th Ave, Frederic, WI 54837). A memorial service officiated by Pastor Mike Fisk will be held at the church at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 17, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
