Alison Doreen Vennie, age 72, formerly of Cumberland passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Dove Healthcare in Chippewa Falls.

She was born October 29, 1951 in Cumberland, WI to Gerald and Evelyn (Hazelberg) Ostrum.

Alison loved tending to her plants, whether that was in her home or out in the garden. She also loved sewing quilts, collecting knick-knacks, and of course, watching the Packers and Badgers play football. Later in life she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by children, Dana Vennie (Gina), Erika Vennie (Dean) and Sara (Teresa) Dodge; grandchildren, Brett Hrdlicka, Marissa Jones (Mike), Michael Vennie, Morgan Vennie, Anthony White (Tarah) and Ashley Hale; great grandchildren, Peyton, Corbin, Easton, Brandon, Chase, Arya, Maisie, and Evie; brothers, Victor (Linda) Ostrum, Marvin Ostrum, and Paul Ostrum; sister, Noreen Ostrum; bonus family, Angelia Jean, Jessica Brott, and Josh Hill.

Preceded in death by parents, Gerald and Evelyn Ostrum.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Skinner Funeral Home, Cumberland. A closing prayer will be said at 6:45 PM.
